Man, this will be a touchy issue!
Let’s get one thing clear! When I’m talking about quitting, I don’t mean relationships. That’s an entire separate topic! No, what I mean is activities or habits! Sports, jobs, school, you know! Things of that nature!
We never want to believe quitting on something right? regardless of what it is!
But sometimes either life happens or we’ve lost interest and that we need to give certain things up.
And as someone who has stuck through a couple of things that ought to are given up and have also given on something needed to be fought for.
These questions are essential! And honestly, I wish that somebody would have walked me through these once I was fighting so hard to stay something that just wasn’t meant on behalf of me anymore!
But how can we know needless to say that it’s time to quit??
BELOW ARE 7 QUESTIONS THAT YOU SIMPLY SHOULD ASK YOURSELF WHEN YOU’RE TRYING TO MAKE A DECISION IF IT’S TIME TO QUIT.
First, does one understand why you’re doing what you’re doing?
This is an enormous thing! there have been tons of times that I gave abreast of something just because it had been inconvenient or difficult.
I never stopped to believe WHY i used to be even doing it within the first place!
Most of those things were sports related which if I had known all of the advantages of participating, i might have stuck it out.
Some things should be done! albeit we don’t want to try to to them.
Second, is it bringing you joy?
I honestly feel joy should be a key factor for any situation period! Because the Lord gives us joy altogether circumstances when we’re within the right place and right time.
If you’re not feeling joyous then I definitely say that it’s time to reevaluate your situation! regardless of what!
Next, how will it affect your future?
Like I said before, some things are just GOOD for us no matter whether or not we like it!
College as an example are often huge for your future!
However, it’s not for everyone and there’s been quite one one that has quit and gone on to measure a wonderful life!
But for many folks college is that golden ticket to a far better future!
If you’re willing to quit, what quite repercussions will that have for your future? Will it make it better or easier?
Or just the opposite?
Think about it before jumping the gun!
Or is there a better/different way?
For instance, once I was first performing on this blog, i might just work and work without working properly!
I didn’t add my most optimal time, I didn’t batch work, or add 50/10!
I felt stretched and drained with nothing to point out for it!
But lo and behold, after just a touch little bit of research and grace! I understood that there's a way better way of working that produced results and avoided the burnout.
Maybe this is often something that you simply can check out too?
Have your put all of your effort into it?
Okay, be honest!
Have you put your best foot forward? Are you actually trying?
Or just trying to urge out of it?
When I was in college, this was my jam!
I would scheme at how I could make the entire experience “easy” my grades were a result.
And by that I mean they went down the drain! i used to be outraged! I figured college wasn’t on behalf of me and considered quitting.
My effort wasn't where it should have been! i used to be avoiding rather than embracing!
This is a pattern that I’ve played at overflow the years which frequently resulted in me thinking it’s time to quit. Most of which I followed through on.
How long have you ever been trying?
Maybe it’s simply time to undertake your hand at something else?
Is it possible that you’ve simply been giving it your all and are just able to advance to try to to something different?
Doing various things is amazing!
As I’ve gotten older and not let my fear get within the way, I’ve discovered that trying new things is insanely awesome! It are often exhilarating and euphoric!
It also can be downright terrifying but when something new sets your heart on fire?? How are you able to avoid it?
Is it perhaps that something else is getting the way of your new thing?
This could be the proper time to easily advance from one thing to another?
Finally, what does God need to say about it?
Reach out and invite his direction!
Seriously! There are numerous times once I felt like it’s time to quit! But i do know that that’s not God’s plan.
There are situations that I’ve been in before that I felt God move me to quit and that i refused to listen!
I’m such a stinker! If I had known the heartache that might follow me not only for a touch bit except for YEARS to come! i might have gladly quit!
God has special plans for every of us! And while I’m not getting to sit here and say that I understand His timing and goodness, i will be able to say that simply taking note of what He’s telling me has NEVER steered me wrong!
Even if you don’t believe God, He’s still there for you! Walking besides you and TRYING to succeed in you! Just let him and you’ll be amazed at how your life will change!
It’s seriously the simplest relationship ever! Because don’t get them confused, religion and relationship aren't an equivalent THING.
Anyways! If you've got any questions on this subject please reach out and I’ll do my best to help!
AND ANOTHER THING:
I would say that whatever you’re debating, don't do anything in haste! Give yourself a while to actually find out what you want! Because some choices are irrevocable and there'll be no going back.
Just believe it!
