Feeling sick? You’ll want to undertake my four ingredient,
non-alcoholic toddy to sooth your cold, cough, or pharyngitis . It’s such a lot
better than cough drops!
For the last month I even have been sick. Like
hacking-out-a-lung-no-voice-the-doctor-is-my friend-sick. i feel my issues are
finally getting sorted out, but I’ve cracked a rib from coughing so hard within
the process.
However, one happy discovery through all of this was this
hot-toddy recipe that kept my coughing to a minimum. The Dad of 1 of my voice
students suggested it, and that i was so glad he did. This version is
non-alcoholic, but you'll add your alcohol of choice if you’re so inclined.
Because it's no alcohol, this toddy recipe may be a
perfectly safe pharyngitis remedy for teenagers , adults, and pregnant women. i
do know firsthand how frustrating it's when you’re sick and pregnant and you
can’t take anything to form you are feeling better!!
The main ingredients are lemon and honey, but the spice that
creates this one a touch different from other toddies out there's cinnamon. I’m
an enormous fan of cinnamon, so this drink made my taste buds quite happy.
4 INGREDIENT CINNAMON TODDY
Turn to this toddy once you got to sooth a pharyngitis or
cough fast. Non-alcoholic and safe for teenagers , adults, and pregnant women.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup boiling water
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set a kettle of water to boil.
2. Cut a lemon in half. Juice one among those halves, and save the opposite half for an additional cup later.
3. Add juice , honey, and cinnamon to 1 cup of boiling
water. Drink as required .
NOTES
Nothing except time and rest can really fix a cough, cold, or pharyngitis . This toddy will just cause you to feel better until your body heals.
