Maybe you can’t even imagine how it's – to be in peace together with your own four walls?
I get it.
I have been there.
No matter what proportion i attempted to diet, exercise, buy new clothes – it had been never enough. i used to be so freacking tired to be in war with myself every single day. It’s exausting. And it's a sort of violance.
You see, the worldwide problem with not loving our bodies starts in our mindset, primary it's not the load that creates us feel unpleasant, it's that we can’t accept ourselves as we are.
I would say that it's an influence of society and social media.
Now believe your childhood – most of the days you didn’t even care about how you seemed like , it had been more about how you felt, how happy you were, playful, joyful and carefree.
Yes, maybe I saw a touch more attractive people around me (at least that’s what I thought), but I quickly let those thoughts go, because I just didn’t care the maximum amount .
I grew up and began to note ‘’my flaws’’, began to compare myself with others till I began to hate myself, my body, my being.
How sad is that?
All those band aid diets, artificial bodies, all those – ‘’You aren't beautiful enough!’’… they made me feel so uncomfortable in myself that I simply began to follow everything that social media says.
Oh, my, this journey was frustrating then , so exhausting.
I was so violent with myself that it made me feel anxious, sad, made me cry, i used to be so filled with hate towards myself that it became scary.
One day once I was again – so guilty that I ate the food after dieting myself fo weeks – , I realised that i'm so through with all that shiz. and that i simply began to do all the possible things that made me accept myself as an individual , and therefore the body image followed also.
How to start loving your body and accept yourself?
It won’t be an overnight thing. it'll take time, because great things take time right? But this journey, my dear reader, could also be one among the valuable roads of your life. If you're uninterested in not loving your being, sending hate towards yourself, eager to feel comfortable in your skin…
then here are my tips the way to accept yourself and have a positive, loving and compassionate body image!
1. believe what body does for you
Often times when people have a tremendous healths, they feel good and joyful, they forget to thank their bodies about all the good functions they need .
Imagine all those incredible things that body does for you :
- You can breathe
- You can walk
- You can hug
- You can eat
- You can paint
- You can taste
- You can love
- You can dance
- You can swim
…and more, and more, and more..
It can even heal itself once you have a sore, how cool is even that?
Thinking about body functions will assist you to start out sending some love towards it.
2. Ditch comparing
I mean, unfollow every single account that creates you begin comparing yourself with others. Comparison may be a waste of your time . specialise in yourself and don’t stray in people .
Remember, that the flower doesn’t compete yourself with the flower next thereto . you're unique just the way you're , the goal here is appreciate yourself.
There may come times once you see a gorgeous person on the streets, so what? She is she, you're you. Both of you've got something to offer to the present world. that's what's important.
3. Repeat positive body affirmations
I have a post where I mention subconscious effect on our a day lives. Basically, what you constantly repeat to yourself – within the mornings, afternoons, evenings, before bed, through meditation – it becomes your reality.
Write down your own positive body affirmations that you simply identify on the brink of your understanding, and begin to repeat whenever you'll .
After a while you'll notice how that have affected your life, you'll feel more confident and compassionate towards yourself.

These are just mine affirmations, I encourage you to seek out yours that creates the foremost sense to you. You don’t got to repeat 100 affirmations, just few that creates you are feeling good.
4. study Intuitive Eating
This hectic world out there have made us to forget how it's – to eat intuitive. hear your body – eat once you are hungry and stop once you are full.
It will take some good practice, as i do know it took on behalf of me . But once you are at that time where you truly listen what the body is telling you, you become easy on yourself and food becomes your friend.
Also, learn the balance – on behalf of me it works that I eat 80% healthy and 20% whatever i would like (vegan). This has completely erased any guilt and shame about eating habits.
5. Eat more plants, do more yoga
I was a vegan (I still am), but I still was a binge eater, simply because of the before diets and feeling guilty all the time.
Plant based food has lower calory density, which leads us to having the ability to eat more food and consume less calories.
Learing more about plantbased eating patterns changed my life. Because it creates the liberty , which is what we'd like during this positive body image journey – we'd like to possess freedom with food also .

Oh, and yoga… stop being crazy about exercising a day and counting calories on your fit-slim journey, simply choose that sort of fitness that creates you are feeling happy, joyful and healthy.
6. Follow models together with your somatotype
When I began to realise how good and assured people look and desire with the ‘’imperfections’’ that i assumed I had, I felt more confident and cozy .
Are you having thick thighs?
Follow the people that feel good that .
Maybe smaller breasts?
Again – find people that are confident thereupon .
7. Wear clothes you are feeling comfortable within
What’s the purpose of following the design that makes you are feeling uncomfortable? Find the style that creates confidence and matches your somatotype , and be very, very satisfied together with your own sweet looks.
Ditch buying clothes that doesn’t suit you . It are often motivating, yes, but there’s a risky line between being motivated and being ashamed and guilty all the time.
There will be a right time to urge new clothes, now appreciate yourself as you're , everything else will follow.
8. Celebrate yourself
Dance, move, enter underwear, substitute front of the mirror and repeat that you simply are okay just the way you're , eat the food that you simply love and don't feel guilty and ashamed, learn the balance.
